The Macfox X2 represents a massive premium upgrade within Macfox’s retro mini-moto family, stepping away from the entry-level, bare-bones design of the X1S and jumping straight into the high-performance dual-suspension class.

Instead of targeting just casual neighborhood block riding, the X2 is engineered as a true all-terrain moped cruiser. By swapping a steel frame for lightweight aluminum, doubling the stock battery capacity, introducing a multi-gear drivetrain, and adding dual rear shocks, Macfox built a highly capable, 28 mph brawler designed to conquer loose dirt, gravel, and heavily potholed urban streets.

• Power & Performance Upgrades: Upgrades to a much beefier 750W nominal rear hub motor that peaks out at 1000W and pushes 65Nm of torque. This provides a massive low-end boost over the 500W X1S, giving it the raw power needed to pull hard off the line and climb steep neighborhood hills.
• True Dual Suspension: The defining characteristic of the X2 is its full-suspension framework. It pairs a rugged, motorcycle-style double-crown front suspension fork with dual rear mechanical shock absorbers mounted under the seat block. This system drastically reduces rider fatigue by absorbing hard curb drops and rough off-road terrain.
• Massive Stock Battery (With Dual Option): Outfitted with a hefty, high-capacity 48V 20Ah (960Wh) UL 2271 certified battery as standard, effectively doubling the fuel tank of lesser models. A single battery achieves a highly realistic 40 to 45 miles of range. Opting for the Dual Battery version adds a second pack beneath the frame structure to push your real-world riding distance to 80 to 90 miles.
• Speed & 7-Speed Gearing: Functions natively as a Class 2 street cruiser capped at 20 mph, but can be quickly unlocked via the backlit LCD dashboard settings to achieve a fast Class 3 clip of 28 mph. To handle those higher speeds, it ditches single-speed simplicity for a mechanical 7-speed Shimano drivetrain.
• Hydraulic Stopping Power: Swaps out high-maintenance mechanical cables for superior, self-adjusting hydraulic disc brakes clamping onto 180mm rotors. This provides immediate, light-touch stopping leverage in wet or dry conditions.
• Tires & Aluminum Build: Rolls on high-volume, puncture-resistant 20x4.0-inch fat tires that can be aired down for optimal traction. Built around an agile, rigid 6061 aluminum alloy frame, the bike scales in between 65 and 72 pounds (depending on your single or dual-battery setup) and supports a stout 330-pound maximum payload.
• Fixed Moto Ergonomics: Features an elongated, padded dual-saddle bench seat set at a fixed 33-inch seat height. Because the seat cannot be adjusted vertically, the frame geometry is best optimized for riders 5'3" and taller who intend to use the thumb throttle as their primary source of propulsion.

• The Shield Headlight: Replaces the basic round lamp with an aggressive, retro-moto shield-shaped high/low-beam LED headlight.
• The Gold Chain: Ships standard with a custom gold mechanical chain that provides a sharp, premium contrast against the stealthy matte-black or black-and-tan colorways.
• Independent Controls: The updated cockpit completely separates the LCD dashboard bracket from the thumb throttle, allowing you to independently rotate and customize your throttle positioning for optimal hand comfort or stunt control.
