Horizon

The Heybike Horizon is a bit of a "unicorn" in the e-bike world. While most folding e-bikes compromise on wheel size or completely ditch rear shocks to save space, the Horizon flips the script. It is a full-suspension, folding step-through cruiser that rolls on unique 24x4.0-inch fat tires—climbing right out of the standard 20-inch "pocket folder" class into a much more stable, full-sized riding stance.

Instantly recognizable by its striking, vibrant gradient paint jobs (like the Sunset and Pearl colorways), the Horizon is designed for RVers, commuters, or garage-space savers who want the plush, trail-smoothing ride of a dual-suspension fat bike but still need the luxury of a collapsible frame.

• Power & Grunt: Driven by a punchy 750W nominal rear hub motor that peaks at a wild 1400W and cranks out 80Nm of torque. It uses a standard 5-level cadence sensor that delivers snappy, aggressive off-the-line acceleration to confidently tackle steep neighborhood hills.
• True Full Suspension: Delivers an incredibly soft, couch-like ride by pairing an adjustable hydraulic front suspension fork (with mechanical lockout) with a Horst-link rear suspension system. Combined with the massive air cushion of the tires, it completely irons out potholes and gravel paths.
• Speed & App Customization: Ships as a Class 2/3 hybrid capping assist at 28 mph, but can be fully unlocked via the Heybike smartphone app to hit top speeds of 30 mph on pure throttle. The Bluetooth app also allows you to map out custom power curves for each pedal assist level.
• The 24-Inch Fat Tire Stance: Moves away from small 20-inch wheels in favor of 24x4.0-inch Chao Yang fat tires. This hybrid size offers much better rollover capacity and pavement stability than a standard compact folder, without feeling as massive or unwieldy as a 26-inch fat bike.
• Battery & Real-World Range: Houses a removable, lockable 48V 14.4Ah (692Wh) UL-certified battery. While Heybike claims a maximum 55-mile range under perfect conditions, its heavy build means you will realistically net 25 to 35 miles under heavy real-world throttle and assist use.
• Brakes & Gearing: Stopped predictably by hydraulic disc brakes paired with 180mm rotors for reliable, light-touch stopping leverage. Mechanical pedaling is managed through a budget-friendly 7-speed Shimano Tourney drivetrain.
• Heavy-Duty Folding Geometry: Built on a robust 6061 aluminum frame with an open, accessible step-through design. Because of the dual-suspension linkages and massive wheels, it is quite heavy—scaling in at 79.4 pounds. It features a 330-pound total capacity and is ergonomically optimized to fit riders from 5'5" to 6'3".
• The Full Commuter Package: Arrives standard with front and rear full-coverage fenders, a heavy-duty integrated rear rack, an electronic horn, a high-output headlight, and integrated front and rear turn signals tied directly into an active rear brake light.
