The Rad Power Bikes RadRunner is the bike that essentially kicked off the compact utility "moped" e-bike revolution. It bridges the gap between a nimble city cruiser and a heavy-duty cargo bike, featuring a short-wheelbase step-through frame, a flat moped-style saddle, and massive customization potential.

The baseline RadRunner keeps things beautifully simple, rugged, and budget-friendly. It relies on a low-maintenance single-speed drivetrain and a rigid fork, choosing mechanical simplicity over complex gears. It is essentially a blank canvas—you can ride it stripped-down and minimalist, or bolt on Rad's specialized center consoles, front baskets, and passenger seats to turn it into a tiny car replacement.

• Drivetrain & Speed: Operates strictly as a Class 2 e-bike, capping out at a legal 20 mph via 5 levels of pedal assist or a right-hand half-twist throttle. • Brakes & Build: Outfitted with dependable mechanical disc brakes clamped onto oversized 180mm rotors for reliable stopping power. It drops a heavy suspension fork for a ultra-stiff, rigid steel front fork, keeping steering incredibly predictable under load.
• Tires & Comfort: Rolls on custom-engineered, high-volume 20x3.3-inch Kenda all-terrain tires with puncture protection and reflective sidewalls, which provide a naturally plush cushion over rough pavement.
• Utility & Cargo Capacity: Weighs a manageable 65 pounds but punches way above its weight with a 320-pound total payload capacity. The ultra-sturdy, frame-integrated rear rack is rated to carry up to 120 pounds of cargo or an optional passenger seat kit.
